Student Travel Grants

MLSP 2016 STUDENT TRAVEL GRANTS ANNOUNCEMENT

The MLSP2016 organizing committee offers, thanks to IEEE support, ten travel grants to eligible and selected student authors who plan to present an accepted paper at the conference.

Each grant is in the amount of USD500 and it is intended to partially reimburse travel expenses.

An eligible applicant must:
  1. be a full-time student and have an accepted paper at MLSP2016;
  2. be an IEEE member;
  3. apply by July 25, 2016 sending via email the application containing all the information detailed below to Awards Committee Chair Catherine Huang;
  4. attach a letter of support from one of his/her academic advisors recommending the award and confirming his/her status as a student.
The committee will determine the results of the selection in short time basing judgements on paper scores and motivations. The acceptance/non-acceptance letters will be send out in time for the closing of early registration.

Awardees will then be put in direct contact with IEEE that will collect further documents and will send out checks or wires to their current residence in their local currency (not all currencies can be transferred).
